Project Summary
A research-driven poster redesign series based on the Holland Dance Festival work of renowned Dutch graphic designer Gert Dumbar.
After an in-depth study of Dumbar's practice and the broader tradition of Dutch graphic design, I developed a series of poster redesigns responding to his iconic 1995 originals. The project was accompanied by a fully designed editorial document with full-bleed spreads throughout and a style guide drawing from both Dumbar's visual language and Dutch design more broadly.
