NoFlukes Foundation is a Toronto-based non-profit founded by Vaughan Alexander, father of NBA superstar and 2025 MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and uncle to Nickeil Alexander-Walker. The foundation provides financial, emotional, and educational support to underserved communities across the GTA through its flagship event, Shoot Your Shot.

As the primary graphic designer for both the 2024 and 2025 events, my work spanned merchandise, signage, print, motion graphics, and social media, often under tight production timelines and high stakes outputs. The 2025 event was attended by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Metta World Peace, and Allen Iverson.

Merchandise was one of the more demanding parts of the project, since a large bulk order tied to a fixed production deadline meant design requests often came in late in the process due to logistics on the ground. The t-shirts and hoodies were delivered inside that window, sold well at the event, and continued to draw interest afterward. Custom jerseys were also designed for the athletes, worn during the on court games in 2024.

Signage covered posters, large scale banners, and step and repeats across both years. Every file went out production ready with quick turnarounds to meet print deadlines.

The 2025 event featured a motion graphic sequence built in After Effects and played on the main scoreboard throughout the day. The piece needed to hold up at large scale in a live environment, running in front of the athletes and the crowd.

The event brochure was one of the highest visibility print pieces in the project, distributed to hundreds of attendees during the game day. Beyond the event schedule, it carried a QR code linking to a raffle signup. I coordinated the full flow from print to scan to entry, making sure the handoff between the physical piece and the digital raffle system worked without friction.

I developed social media graphics as well as part of the event deliverables, coordinating with videographers and other designers to promote Shoot Your Shot across Instagram and other channels.
